The Nine of Swords shows worry and anguish. This unhappy feeling may be guilt or despair.
Harry's burning scar and nightmares cause him a lot of anxiety over his fourth and fifth years. He feels unsettled by what it may mean as an omen, afraid to tell an adult for fear of appearing weak, and later guilt over Sirius' putting himself at risk in concern for Harry's safety. It turns out that this troubling pain is a very significant issue and should not be merely ignored or tolerated.
