He may put up barriers to ignore painful or frustrating news. This is no solution to the situation and ignoring the problem certainly doesn't make it go away. Hotheaded Ron is not best known for his sensitivity. He holds a stubborn grudge against Hermione, accusing her of not curbing her pet's vicious tendencies. However, he doesn't realize that Hermione's seeming callousness is largely brought on by stress over her large amounts of schoolwork. |
