"My life was nothing but misery at this place and now people come along ruining my death!" - Moaning Myrtle
The Ten of Swords depicts terrible misfortune, so extreme that it cannot seem to get any worse. However, it may also show a bit of victim mentality and melodrama, perhaps making a mountain out of a molehill.
Moaning Myrtle is certainly one of the unhappiest characters in the books. Unlike the other ghosts at Hogwarts, she constantly bemoans the misery of her death and everything related to it. In fact, one might even suspect that she puts on the act in an attempt to gain attention and sympathy.
